The agreement, in words you can actually read.

You need to be 13 or older to have an account. Look after your password — anybody holding it can open whatever has been left for you, and we cannot tell them apart from you.
What you make stays yours
Your memories, your photographs, your recordings, your words. We claim no ownership of any of it. We store it and serve it back to you and to the people you chose, and that is the extent of the permission you are giving us. We do not use it to train anything, and we do not show it to anybody you did not choose.
What not to leave anywhere
Nothing illegal, nothing that harasses or threatens somebody, nothing that is not yours to share, and nothing involving a person who has not agreed to be in it. Places matter too: do not use the app to direct somebody onto private property, into danger, or somewhere they are not welcome.
Travelling to a memory
A memory locked to a place asks you to go there. Getting there safely is entirely your responsibility. Do not read your phone while driving, do not climb anything for a photograph, and do not go anywhere at an hour you would not otherwise go. No memory is worth it, and we would rather it stayed sealed.
Free, and paid
Receiving a memory, travelling to it, opening it and replying to it are free, and stay free — including for somebody following a link with no account at all. A subscription lifts the limits for people placing a great many memories, and nothing you have already placed is ever taken away, hidden or re-sealed if a subscription lapses.
Ending it
You can stop using the app whenever you like and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that is being used to harass somebody or to break the rules above; if that happens we will tell you.
The boring but necessary part
The app is provided as it is. We work hard to keep it running and your memories safe, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable, and we are not liable for loss arising from using it. Keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable — that is good advice about every service, not just this one.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so in the app rather than quietly updating this page and hoping nobody notices.
